The site is up! Many thanks…
That’s right! HAJET.org is back and functioning. Many thanks to Kate Allison, our returning president, for her help in compiling lots of the info and really helping to bring this site to fruition. Also, kudos to Chelle as well, for getting the site on track.
Big, big thanks to Jeremy Churchill, most of all, for kindly donating the server space so that we can have a web-site. He’s helped us out with some consulting on the site too, and he’s been invaluable. Please consider using his web hosting services when setting up your web site or blog. His service is Japanhost.org.
This site is still a bit of a work-in-progress. We’ll be launching a Flickr group, a forum, and a YouTube channel along with the site, and details about those items will be posted shortly. Please feel free to e-mail me, Dan, at danhenrick | at | yahoo.com, if you find any bugs, or you’d like to offer suggestions. (We realize the calendar is a little wonky. It will be fixed shortly.) I will try my hardest to get the site as shiny and pretty as I can. We’re all trying the best we can here, so please refrain from cursing, racial epithets, and death threats, at least within your initial interactions with us.We honestly hope you all enjoy the new site. A lot of blood, sweat, and weeping went into it.
So, so much weeping.
Please forgive our dust, and enjoy!
