When? Winter Meeting 2010: February 19th – 21st (Fri-Sun)
Where? Furano!
This year’s winter meeting will be held in the beautiful city of Furano, the “Belly Button Town.” Smack dab in the middle of Hokkaido, with a population of about 26,000, Furano is famous for its fragrant lavender fields in the summer, and super powdery slopes in winter. Home to a world class ski resort, winery, jam and cheese factories, and much more, Furano is the perfect destination for a mid-winter pick me up!
With HEC just a couple of months away, and the passing of the torch to our new PC, we have much to discuss at this year’s meeting. Friday night we offer 3 workshops to enhance your life and work experience in Japan. Saturday’s enkai will feature a special sneak preview from the talented folks from the HAJET Musical, and there will be a raffle to raise money for HEC.
This is a great chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. You don’t want to miss it!
