FAMILY: 2 dogs (Chica the malamute and Carbone, the unknown breed), 2 older sisters (Martine, 26 & Julie, 28 y.o.) and my parents, all living in Montreal

LANGUAGES: French (fluent), English (fluent), Japanese (slow intermediate)

HOBBIES: Snowboarding, cooking, thrift stores, gardening, travelling.

WHY HAJET? : I think getting involved in HAJET will allow me to meet a lot of 外国人 living situations similar as mine (i.e. Life in a small Hokkaido city). Since I live a rather secluded life in Ashibetsu (until March 2011), getting to know surrounding JETs and non- JETs via HAJET might be essential for me to get out of my small town and to exchange and learn from my peers. I hope to make a positive contribution to HAJET, whether or not as part of the PC. Overall, I want to meet people and get involved in the community to make my stay a bit more pleasurable.
