Call for Nominations – ONE MORE TIME!

Hi Everyone,
Sorry to bug you again, but HAJET never stops working! The new HAJET PC has decided to hold a quick runoff election for the remaining unfilled positions: Non-Jet Rep., Central Rep., Sapporo Rep., and Librarian.
We are also looking for a designer for the Polestar! (Please contact Jessica Benscoter at editor@hajet.org if you are interested.)

The election schedule:
Nomination Period: March 9th- March 15th
Voting Period: March 17th- March 21st
Results will be announced on March 22nd by email in order to give everyone enough time to plan to come to the HAJET PC Retreat.

Hello Everyone,
Isn’t Spring nice? Even though Hokkaido kind of gave winter a pass there! In any case, I hope you’re in a spring mood, because here are the 2011 HAJET PC Election Results! Congratulations to everyone on the new PC, I’m sure they will do some great things in the coming year. These results will be announced again, along with the formal handover of the PC, at the Winter meeting.

Voting has begun for the 2011 HAJET Elections. You’ll need to enter your name for HAJET member verifying purposes. The ballots will ONLY be sent to the HAJET Elections Coordinator and will not be stored in any database. Voting for the elections will end at midnight February 25th.
